If you want to keep your Fujitsu air conditioner filter and just clean it, follow our step-by-step instructions:
The first step is to remove the intake grille and take it off the rest of the appliance. Next, wipe down the grille with a wet cloth to remove any dust and dirt.
The next needed step is to take out the filters by pulling their handles down. These components are located on the front part of this air cooling unit.
Clean off any dust by running the filters under a sink faucet. Then place the parts away from direct sunlight until they’re completely dry.
The next step is to pull out the dust collection unit by its handle and cleaning it with water mixed with a small amount of detergent. The manufacturer recommended using a mild, low-alkaline detergent.
Be sure to rinse each filter thoroughly with clean water and allow it plenty of time to dry in the shade.
The final step in cleaning this unit’s filtering components is to replace and secure them back in the AC unit. Be sure to replace the grille in the front of the unit as well.
